Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are thrilled for the visit of General Primary President Susan H. Porter, General Young Women Presidency 1st Counselor Tamara W. Runia, and General Relief Society Presidency 2nd Counselor Kristin M. Yee the weekend of October 13-14.
They have given us broadcast links and the following updates about the devotionals and training they will be hosting throughout that weekend:
The Friday evening Relief Society devotional broadcast will originate from the Nauvoo Stake Center chapel with in-person invites for Nauvoo, Davenport, and Peoria stakes.
The Saturday morning primary devotional broadcast will now originate from the Iowa City Stake Center chapel with in-person invites all primary children from the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids stakes in Sunday dress.
The Saturday evening devotional is for young men as well as young women with in-person invites for Des Moines, Ames, and Mt. Pisgah stakes. Local units may choose to gather for broadcast viewing.
The Saturday afternoon organization training will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Invited participants now include not only stake and ward Relief Society, young women, and primary presidencies (adult leaders only), but also bishoprics/branch presidencies, stake young men presidency, stake presidency, and high counselors who serve these organizations. All are invited to attend in-person in the Iowa City stake center (broadcast also available).
